Brief introduction:
It’s an oxidation-resistant, low expansion, Ni-Co-Fe alloy with Al, Cr,and Nb additions.
It’s Al content provides excellent resistance to oxidation at high temerpatures.
The combination of low expansion, high strength and excellent resistance to oxidation makes this alloy especially useful for gas turbine and steam turbine components.
