What invar36 material is?
Special low expansion iron nickel alloy.
Invar36 is a special low expansion iron-nickel alloy with extremely low expansion properties. The control of carbon and manganese content is crucial. Cold deformation can reduce the thermal expansion property, and hot working in special temperature range can stabilize the thermal expansion property.
Invar36 feature.
1. Has ultra-low thermal expansion properties between -250 degrees Celsius and+200 degrees Celsius.
2. Excellent plasticity and toughness.
INVR36 Application Fields.
Used in environments that require ultra-low expansion properties.
Typical applications are as follows:
1. Production, storage, and transportation of liquefied gas.
2. Measurement and control instruments with operating temperatures below+200 degrees Celsius, such as temperature regulating equipment.
3. Spiral adapter bushings between metal and other materials.
4. Bimetal and temperature controlled bimetallic.
5. Membrane frame.
6. Shadow mask.
7. CRP in the aviation industry, component tempering molds.
8. Artificial satellites and missile electronic control unit frameworks with temperatures below -200 degrees Celsius.
9. Laser control equipment and auxiliary electronic tubes in electromagnetic lenses.
INVR36 Physical Performance.
Density: 8.1g/cm3
Resistivity: 0.78 μ Ω·m
Curie temperature: 230 ° C
Melting temperature range: 1430 degrees Celsius
Specific heat: 515 J/kg
Invar36 welding.
1. It can use all welding methods to weld, including tungsten electrode welding, plasma welding, argon arc welding and manual arc welding. Pulse arc welding is preferred.
2. Before welding, the material should be in an annealed state, clean, and free from oil stains, scratches, and marking paint.
3. Low heat input is required, and the room temperature should be less than 120 degrees Celsius.
4. No hot working before and after welding.
